Reader in HRM/OB/ER Vacancy
Location: London. Salary: £47,328 to £54,841 plus £3,437 London weighting. Contract Type: Permanent. Closing Date: Sunday 17 May 2015.
The University of Greenwich, Faculty of Business is looking to appoint a Reader to conduct world-class research in human resource management and organisational behaviour. This research will enable the Faculty of Business to play an active role in public debate on these issues, as it does on many others. The successful applicant will have a strong track record in publishing, attracting research income, supervising PhD students, teaching on postgraduate programmes and working with stakeholders outside of academia.
The Reader will be situated within the Faculty of Business and affiliated with the Work and Employment Research Unit (WERU) and the department of Human Resources and Organisational Behaviour (HROB). As a member of the HROB department, the post-holder will be expected to contribute to the full range of the department’s activities by operating in a collegiate manner and upholding standards of academic excellence. This includes contributing to improved research, teaching, pastoral care, management and administration, enterprise/consultancy and other professional activities.
